In tandem with our alliance partner, we perform a study to determine the economic feasibility of operating peak-shaving generators at your facility. If a generator is appropriate for you, we let you know in advance of predicted peak times (so far, we've predicted the peaks with greater than 99 percent accuracy and with limited run hours).

The savings are substantial: one supermarket executive calculates that his company is saving between 20 and 50 percent. A manufacturing facility is saving nearly 25 percent. In total, our customers saved more than $32 million in electric costs in 2003 alone.

Additional savings result when operations can continue during storm-related outages, thanks to the ready availability of backup power via the generators.
